Capitalist Realism (Fisher)
Psychohistory Engine Concept — Plain English Explanation
What is Capitalist Realism (Fisher)?
It is easier to imagine the end of the world than the end of capitalism. The system survives not by repression but by eliminating the capacity to imagine alternatives. Creates 'reflexive impotence' — knowing things are broken while feeling powerless to change them. BST parallel: a bounded system cannot model its own alternative. Mark Fisher (1968-2017) diagnosed the trap and it killed him.
